The ABM mushroom (short for "Agaricus Blazei Murill"), traditionally also known as the "sun mushroom", "Agaricus subrufescens" and "Himematsutake", is still in its infancy culturally compared to other medicinal mushrooms. It only found its way to us from the Brazilian rainforest in the 1970s, but was able to establish itself as an extremely healthy food right from the start. The effectiveness of its nutrients has been proven by a number of studies.
