Founded in 2018 by biotechnology engineer Élodie Carpentier, the beauty company Le Rouge Français focuses on botanical ingredients and the principles of clean beauty. All pigments are of plant origin and offer exciting colour effects despite - or thanks to - the absence of problematic ingredients such as mica and titanium dioxide.

Nail polish with botanical pigments from the red algae Lithothamnion calcareum

The powerful botanical pigment extracted from the red algae Lithothamnion calcareum has been known to mankind since the Bronze Age.

The nail polishes from Le Rouge Français dispense entirely with the shimmer particles from mica, instead relying on the power of an opaque, radiant signal colour and a brilliant, glossy finish.

Vernis Palmaria is a subtle interplay between the transparency of the water and the red fan-like eruptions of the Rossa Mare.

The nails are optimally nourished and strengthened by the main ingredients consisting of sweet almond oil, an oil rich in vitamins, minerals and omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids, as well as cold-pressed wheat germ oil, tapioca starch and anthocyanins from the purple sweet potato.

 

Thanks to the rounded brush, the nail polish can be applied particularly precisely.
