Washi paper is a traditional handmade paper from Japan. It is characterised by its unique texture, strength and durability. The term "washi" is made up of the Japanese words "wa" (Japanese) and "shi" (paper).

It is made from natural fibres, usually from plants such as mulberry, hemp, rice straw or bamboo. The production process involves traditional artisanal techniques in which the fibres are hand-drawn, smoothed and pressed. The result is a paper of high quality and aesthetic beauty.

Green tea is rich in antioxidants such as polyphenols, especially catechins. These antioxidants can help to protect cells from damage caused by free radicals.
